Debenhams Plus Size Mannequins

Debenhams plus size mannequins Debenhams plus size mannequins   It's been quite a while since I last vented my anger on Bo Blab, the last being a little moan about vulgar comments over my tattoos. But today I'm positively disgusted at a large chunk of the web & I need to have a good old rant!   If you've not heard about Debenhams new mannequins, then I fear you may have been hiding under a rock over the weekend. But I have invested some time into reading the comments surrounding their surprisingly controversial decision to introduce plus size mannequins to their stores, & quite frankly I was appalled at what I read.   Although I'm a size 12 and not typically considered to be plus sized, I am lumpy & bumpy & sometimes range from a 10-14 in clothing sizes. & The fact that I have seen many comments calling the mannequins fat and disgusting has seriously stuck a nerve. One man even went as far to comment with a sizable paragraph describing plus size women as ugly, and department stores shouldn't be 'thrusting their whale bodies in the faces of normal sized people.'...  Well, you sir, are a massive judgemental prick! I find it sickening that there are people out there that think it is ok to judge a person on their size before you even know them.   What hope do young people have today if there are horrid people like them out there constantly trying to remind you that if you're not a perfectly sculpted size 8 you're ugly or disgusting?! I'm a great believer in dressing for your body shape & any woman no matter what size they are can look beautiful. Something that I think Debenhams have shown above very well - Both mannequins look amazing in the same dress!    So kids, I leave you with this little message. Whatever size or shape you are, you are beautiful! Don't you dare let vulgar people on the Internet tell you otherwise & be proud that brands like Debenhams, Curvy Kate and Dove are standing up & loving us women for who we are, & no matter what size we are!   What do you think of the Debenhams plus size mannequins?   Bloglovin | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram   Debenhams plus size mannequins
