Days to Go: 250

By Claire

This week (as it’s the school holidays) I have been on the hunt for a new florist, and I’m going to pick up the finished invitations on Tuesday!

When I get the invitations it means the wedding will be real, down in black and white (or purple and ivory)! I’m really excited! I can’t wait to see what they look like!

I am making a scrap book on Blurb, using photos from when h2b tried on his suits and when we went to book the venue, all the dresses I tried on (28) and  elements of the wedding such as the favours and the invitations. I thought it would be a nice way to remember planning our wedding. We’re going to have been engaged for two and a half years by the time we get married (we’re saving up)  so I thought it would be a good way to commemorate it!

I was thinking of displaying it on the guest book table at the wedding.

Also for the guest book table, I saw on our photographer’s blog that a bride and groom were using a photo frame surround as a guest book. I thought it was a fantastic idea because it would mean you could see everyone’s kind wishes every time you walk past the photo frame! I have decided to copy that idea and have been looking for affordable photo frames. I managed to spot one in the sale at BHS with an oak frame which looked really nice!

On Tuesday I will try to post some sneak previews of the invitations. I’m really looking forward to seeing them! Yay!
