Is anyone OTHER than me watching this show?I'm into it. So far it's still on the air which is a good thing, because I'm sucked in big time. In everything I read, the show is on the bubble, but it's pretty good. I'll admit, I really don't care THAT much at all about the murder part of the story, or the James Cromwell part of the story, or the lesbian daughter part of the story or that Elliot from ET is in the show. All I care about are the scenes with Jack & Sarah. There's a chemistry there, a hot one. Hannah Ware the actress that plays Sarah is stunning. I have a major girl crush on her, I did when she was on Boss too, but it's worse now. Stuart Townsend's cute and now I have a thing for him. I don't know how long the writers can keep that "thing" between Jack & Sarah going, but if they can...I'll keep watching.
The Black List
Okay, I know this isn't going to be a popular decision, but I'm giving up The Blacklist. I knew going in that I wouldn't stick with it long term. I'm actually surprised I lasted this long, but James Spader's awesome so I stuck it out as long as I could. The Blacklist isn't my genre at all. I'm not into crime and stuff in general and you know the list will go on and on as long as there are ratings. If Reddington isn't Lizzie's Dad I'd be shocked. I am sort of interested to know the truth about Lizzie's husband, but I'll find out via one of you guys or one of my websites, blogs, news feeds etc. Season pass deleted, back to the Giant game and all the other stuff in my TiVO.Revenge
Revenge is BACK! No really...it's gotten back on track big time. Emily and Victoria are battling it out and it's fun to watch. I don't think there's anyone in the Grayson/Clarke circle that's trustworthy at this point. Maybe Nolan, but who knows? I thought Aidan was, but he screwed over Emily at the end of Sunday nights episode. I thought Daniel was okay, but now he's a big time liar too, covering for Conrad. We still have poor Jack, who totally can't catch a break and now is on the revenge bandwagon with Emily. I was sort of hoping that Father Paul would live, but he didn't make it after the car accident, that was a bummer. How hilarious was it when Victoria basically threatened the art gallery chick and now she's the owner of an art gallery...just like that. Only on Revenge. Oh...and look at Nolan with the major gaydar! Total guy on guy hot makeout session. Good for you ABC!How I Met Your Mother
There losing me. Of course I'm going to watch every episode until the end, but they need to throw us all a bone...soon! I need some Mom stuff asap, but apparently we are going to have to go through the ENTIRE wedding before Ted meets the Mom at the train station AFTER the wedding is over. Sorry guys but that's so unfair! I want them to meet AT the wedding, not AFTER the wedding. OY YOU ARE KILLING ME! Last nights episode was fine, Marshall is STILL on the road and practicing how to tell Lily about his new judge gig. Robin and Barney stole Marshall and Lily's "how we met" story and lied to their super mean minister played by Edward Hermann aka Richard Gilmore. He died so now they have to find someone to perform the ceremony. Of course Ted chose the wrong, nut job woman, to hook up with at the wedding, but we knew that when MOM wasn't one of the Ipad options Barney showed us all at the start of the show. Totally pissed me off.
Queer Eye of the Straight Guy 10 Year Reunion
Man the Fab Five look SO good! I can't believe it's been 10 year since we first met them all. The chemistry is still there big time, but the guys have no real desire to bring the show back again. While they all looked amazing, Kyan was my favorite then and he's still my fave. He still has that amazing hair but now he's sportin a scruffy graying beard. Toooo cute. Andy Cohen should date him. They'd be great together. I know there are all of those Sean Avery rumors but Andy and Kyan would make a great couple, don't ya think? Of course I always wanted Andy to be with Anderson Cooper, but he's taken already and I'm digressing big time...back on track...I didn't realize the show forced Carson and Jai to out themselves to their families. 10 years ago there weren't any states that recognized gay marriage and now there are 14. Things have certainly changed since the guys came into our homes, and our hearts. The reunion was filled with flashbacks of all the amazing straight guy makeovers. I remembered all of them, especially the guy that revealed his bald head to his kids for the first time on national television. They had him there too and he's still bald, he didn't go back to the toupee thank god. It was really nice to see the guys together again. They promised Andy they'd do it again in another 10 years. I hope Andy holds them to it. I'd love to see how good they all look again in 2023.
The People's Couch
Okay...I'm not saying that I have ANY influence whatsoever, but Bravo finally revealed the names of my favorite couch buddies on this weeks People's Couch! Do you think Andy is reading this blog? OMG I'd die! I sort of like the names I gave all my buds better than their real names but nicknames are always better than the real thing. This week, the gang watched: Million Dollar Listing, Criss Angel, The Biggest Loser, The Walking Dead, Bronies on Logo and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I know I keep saying I want in on The Walking Dead, but after watching the clips with The Eyebrow Boys featuring Vanilla Ice (aka Blake, Scott and Emerson) I know I can't watch it. I'd be terrified, have nightmares and never ever sleep. The Pumpers were MIA this week, but The Chiuahua Club, aka Julie and Brandy and my favorites, The Sam Family who go by Egber in real life, were all present and accounted for. New this week...Reza, Mike and Asa from Shah's of Sunset. I don't want to stereotype, but they could go hang out on Destiney and Cathy's couch, they are after all my Shah's of Mudmask. -Syfy renewed Face Off for a 6th season -TV Land will be running a Roseanne Halloween Marathon. I used to watch Roseanne back in the day. Loved it actually and their Halloween episodes were awesome. Good marathon if you've got nothing major going on this Halloween. I'm betting there will be a bunch more specials and marathons. Keep ya posted -Comedy Central's new late night series @Midnight premiered last night because we NEED another late night talk show more than anything else right now. I TiVO'ed it, so I'll have to check it out and get back to you on that one. -Netflix now has 40 MILLION subscribers. 31 million in the US which is more than HBO! So let me do some simple math. If all 40 million spend an average of $6.00 a month that's $240,000,000 a month. No wonder why the can invest in good quality progamming...they're sitting on TONS of cash! Netflix never reveals real ratings or viewing numbers but the good news for all of us Orange is the New Black fans...it had higher viewership than House of Cards and will only continue to grow!
-Look out Puppy Bowl...now there's Kitten Bowl on Superbowl Sunday too! Howard Stern's wife Beth and Yankees announcer John Sterling will team up on the Hallmark Channel for Kitten Bowl 1! I'm a huge Beth Stern supporter because I'm a huge Howard Stern supporter, but I'm a Puppy Bowl loyalist and sorry cat fans...I'm not on your team. Puppies all the way, but now there's an option for cat lovers too on Superbowl Sunday!
