Posted on the 09 February 2012 by Iangreen @GREENComms

Apprenticeships are flexible qualifications, which is something that MOTIV has taken advantage of in recruiting Lauren Kelly. Lauren is a Business and Administration apprentice and has already taken on extra responsibilities due to her excellent work and fast learning.
Damar Training helped MOTIV to recruit Lauren in October 2011 and as well as her day to day activities she has also assisted colleagues by visiting a number of schools, helped run events and assemblies, including working with brands such as Top Trumps, Crayola and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. Having left college in pursuit of more hands-on learning, Lauren loves the fact that no two days are the same.
Based at The Sharp Project in Manchester, MOTIV is an award-winning social enterprise that works with primary and secondary schools to improve attendance and raise children’s aspirations. Their founding director, Rose Marley, sees apprenticeships as key in assisting MOTIV deliver their vision and commitment to supporting young people to progress beyond school.
