Damar Training: Five Days, Five Apprentices

Damar Training, one of our valued clients, is conducting an interesting exercise to promote apprenticeships in the north-west.
Over the next five days it will be telling five apprenticeship stories. Today’s story, the first, focuses on Talia Sykes, an apprentice with Virtual Human Resources.
Specialist HR and recruitment business VHR has offices in London and Altrincham, Cheshire, Italy and the United Arab Emirates. Supplying staff into the Aerospace & Aviation, Formula 1 & Automotive, Engineering & Defence and IT sectors, VHR is the perfect example of a small to medium sized, rapidly growing business that is using apprentices to accelerate its growth.
VHR currently employs eight apprentices and the three in the Altrincham office were all recruited and are being trained with the support of Damar Training.
Talia Sykes who is from Hasslington, Cheshire is 20 and was one of the first VHR apprentices. She joined as an apprentice Technical Resourcer and has done so well that in November she was part of a team representing the company at the Dubai International Air Show. She has already had one promotion and is looking forward to developing a career in the recruitment industry.
