Culturific ( is That Even a Word? )

I was born in Quezon City, Philippines but before I could even enter grade school my family and I moved to Sydney, Australia. I took my grade school years at Fairfield and learned to adopt to a British culture.

Our clothing there was something I would describe comfortable. At school we have mini skirts and polo shirt for PE and dress uniform on regular days but most of the time its jacket and PJs. :) It was always laid back and comfy.

Year 1999 when I finally got back here in the Philippines. I was turning 10 y.o. at that time and never knew how to speak Tagalog. But as a child, little by little I learned to adopt specially when I entered High School. I was lucky enough to get in to an English speaking campus. :D LOL

When I entered college I was culture shocked. I realized I wasn’t that of a special treatment anymore because lots of people don’t know who I was and where I came from. So, I made a move and planned to stand out. That was when I forced myself to study better, retain 1.5s and 1.75s and my classic style. I guess I was known for that kind of being simple yet “conyo.”

What made me and my style are the places that I came from. From being casual - classic of Philippines to being comfortable and basic of Australia. Its a mix of everything making it “CULTURIFIC” (is that even a word? LOLs)
