I thought I’d share with you the gift I bought my best friend for her birthday last Monday. I went to Lush to buy her present and I’ll admit I was a little disappointed with the gift sets you can buy for £10. Now I know that they come wrapped up all lovely but you only get 2 products inside, so you’re paying a lot for that pretty wrapping.
I decided to make a gift set of my own, just to see what you can create with £10. It doesn’t look as pretty as the ones ready to buy in Lush, but it does have a gift box and I got 3 products. My gift box came from Card Factory for £1.79 and is the perfect size to fit the three products in, and a bit of tissue paper to make it look a little nicer.

Creamy Candy – £2.75
Total = £9.05 + Gift Box at £1.79 = £10.84
Don’t get me wrong, I love Lush but sometimes it works out better value to create a gift set of your own, rather than buying a ready made one. Plus a gift set you’ve made yourself will always be more appreciated as you’ve spent the time choosing the products rather than dashing in and picking up a ready made gift set.
