Creamy Peanut Butter Cake

 

So creamy cake with peanut butter frosting, whipping base and chocolate glaze as decoration. It’s not a heavy cake, just light, sweet and very nice!

I had to make it because of the cravings we had for peanut butter
:-)
This cake is not hard to make, just follow the procedure and try to make it yourself.

Ingredients for the cake

  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tbsp of sugar
  • 6 tbsp of milled biscuits
  • 6 tbsp of bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa
  • 2 tbsp of crushed pecans

How to prepare the cake

Beat the egg whites until firm, add sugar and beat again. Add the egg yolks and all of the other ingredients. Mix it well and pour it in the pan covered with baking paper. Bake the cake on 420F degrees until it gets a nice brownish color.

Ingredients for the frosting

  • 2 1/2 cup of milk
  • 5 tbsp of flour
  • 4 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 big tbsp of peanut butter

Prepare the frosting

Stir the flour and sugar together, add some cold milk and stir it until it gets smooth. Heat the remaining milk and add this smooth cream to make homemade pudding. As it becomes thick, take it of the heat and cool it down. The cold homemade pudding mix with the peanut butter.

Assemble the cake like on the pictures and beat the 1 cup of whipping base for topping.

I have made chocolate glaze out of chocolate, butter and some milk and decorated the cake in stripes.
