I have some reptile-loving kids in my art trading card class, so I challenged them to see how many creatures they could create with my template page of eyes. I had drawn lots of reptile bodies, but this little girl Sara, a kinder, made this adorable assortment of creatures and people. Love her sense of style!1. 2. Students draw heads and bodies around the eyes, making a new creation in each box.
3. The drawing is traced with a Sharpie and colored in with crayons.
4. I used a paper cutter to trim out the cards when complete. The coloring is so much easier that way. The cards are kept in a plastic Trading Card sleeve that you can find at Staples.
