CRAP PRODUCT (WHISH MUD MASK)

Attention Beauty Lovers! I am back with another Crap Products Review. I love tons of makeup and beauty related products. I test tons of products and fall in love with many of them. However, occasionally there are those product that just plain suck. I do not want to completely bash these brands because there are products in their lines that are awesome. I am simply warning about the products that are terrible and you should stay away from. These are my honest opinions and I understand a product I hate, you may love. That is what makes blogging so fun. What one person loves another will dislike. I hope you enjoy these posts and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

WHISH RENEWING MUD MASK ($44)

I am a huge fan of masks! I have a ginormous collection of them and I keep adding more. I rarely find masks that I don't like. However, I am here to tell you about one that you should AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If you have sensitive skin of any sorts, run away...seriously run from this mask. And I am going to take a wild guess and say that if you don't have sensitive skin, you still should run away from it.

Why is it so crappy? Well, let me tell you. Okay, here's the background. The day started out like any other day. I woke up, did my makeup (thought I was looking good for the day), went to work, came home, worked on the blog, and then decided...lets pamper the skin. I pulled out this sample of the WHISH Renewing Mud Mask. Now understand...I LOVE mud masks so I was beyond excited to try this one. I also love WHISH products and have so many of their products. Anyway, I poured this mask into my hands lighting fast. I enjoyed rubbing the gooey, muddy substance all over my face (Do you enjoy this part of masks?...Please tell me I am not the only one)! OOO and I forgot to tell you...This mask only has to be on for 2 minutes! Two minutes I tell you!! How awesome is that? Or so I thought!

The mask felt really nice going onto the skin and I could see little scrubby granules in the mask. I am assuming these are meant for exfoliation (they looked like bits of cinnamon to me). I was excited because the mask seemed to be like many of the masks that I do love. Oh, but let me tell you it most certainly is NOT! Side Note: This mask does smell amazing. If cinnamon and blueberries had a baby...BAM...you would have this mask! I love the smell, but hate what this mask did to my skin.

What did it do? If you haven't looked at the pictures by now (Where are you??? Under a rock???), then I suggest you scroll up to see what happened. My face turned beat red! And I mean tomato, cherry, cranberry, apple, whatever you want to call it...RED! The redness lasted for HOURS! I only left this mask on for two minutes...I am afraid to think about what my skin would look like if I left it on any longer. I am thinking my skin had a reaction to this mask or something. My skin also burned and felt so tight. I am so thankful I did this mask at night so I could sleep it off. I can only imagine if I did this mask before I went to work (you can imagine what I would say then...go ahead guess)! I have never had my face look this red and feel this hot. It was crazy and scary at the same time. I was praying my face wasn't going to explode (totally pictured a cartoon scene here...my character had steam coming out of their face and then exploded). This mask was just BAD!!! Unless you want to look like a tomato (new trend...gosh I hope not), I would AVOID this mask!

So there you have it...another crap product! I would definitely stay away from this and do not waste your money. Just because it has an expensive price tag does not mean it is an expensive product. The lies people...the lies. I have learned my lesson and will never purchase this product. To the dumpster, it goes!

Note: I am not the only one who had this reaction to this product. I have read many reviews from people with the same problem. Also, the redness did go away and my skin did look better in the morning. However, this product is just not worth it!
