Attention Beauty Lovers! I am back with another Crap Products Review. I love tons of makeup and beauty related products. I test tons of products and fall in love with many of them. However, occasionally there are those product that just plain suck. I do not want to completely bash these brands because there are products in their lines that are awesome. I am simply warning about the products that are terrible and you should stay away from. These are my honest opinions and I understand a product I hate, you may love. CRAP PRODUCT:
COVERGIRL TRUBLEND FIXSTICK CONCEALER ($5-$9)I am back with another Crap Products post and so quick...craziness I know. I have been trying some really crappy products lately. Anyway, I am a huge CoverGirl fan...like HUGE! I love most of their products that I try. However, I am here to tell you about one that truly and I mean TRULY let me down. And this isn't a little "Oh it was just okay," type of let me down. It is a HUGE, over the top (totally like this post...I know), let me down. Oh, and I forgot to tell you I am a huge concealer junkie!
Why is this product so bad? Well first, it seems like it would be great and easy to use because it is in a stick. Nope, this is a lie! This product is so hard to use. The hardest concealer I have ever tried to use...LITERALLY! It is bulky and not easy to apply at all.
Second, the formula is the worst! It is so drying and once you finally get it on your face (I am telling you that you will get a workout trying to apply this concealer), it won't move. You seriously can't blend this stuff. I have tried with a beauty blender, brush, my finger, fire to melt it (totally kidding here) and it still won't blend. It is hopeless to blend this product out.
Third, back to the drying part. I don't care if you have oily skin, as oily as smearing a whole bottle of olive oil on your face, this product will still dry you out. It creases so bad and if you try and set it...one you will look more dry and two...the powder will just sit on top and you will really look like a clown.
Fourth, and here comes the worst part of all...THE SCENT! People are you sitting down for this? You need to be because let me tell you this smells disgusting. It makes me sick to use it. It smells like crayons that are 100 years old! Did they have crayons back then? Well if they did, then this concealer stick is it. It smells so fake and just bad. Definitely not something I want to be putting on my face.
So there you have it...another crap product! I would definitely stay away from this and do not waste your money. This is the worst concealer I have ever tried...the WORST! The lies people...the lies. I have learned my lesson and will never purchase this product. To the dumpster, it goes!
