Corey’s Barn Burners – March 25

Posted on the 25 March 2016 by Hendrik Pape @soundcheckblg

It has been a crazy busy week for us at SCE and I have listened to so much great new music this week. Here are this weeks Barn Burners, four songs that really stood out for me this week.

JUSTIN MOORE - You Look Like I Need A Drink

This guy is headed to Casino Rama on May 7th and I have to say I really dig this tune.

Eric Ethridge - Leaving Nashville

Southern Ontario's Eric Ethridge still doesn't have a record deal and I am just not sure why. After watching his recent YouTube Video covering Leaving Nashville a song that Charles Kelley had just released and is written by one hell of a song writer and Canadian to boot, Donovan Woods.

Billy Currington - It Don't Hurt Like It Used To

We don't get to see Billy up in Canada that often but I sure love this guys stuff. And his new single It Don't Hurt Like It Used To is just awesome.

Sturgil Simpson - In Bloom

When i first heard this I wasn't exactly sure if it was what I thought it was. After listening through the entire song I was in love just after hearing it once. Sturgil Simpson hits it out of the park with a killer rendition of Nirvana's In Bloom.

Well if your reading this you must really be bored... So I was born and raised in a small town and have a thirst for good Canadian Whiskey and amazing Country Music.
