I knew we were in for a great day when I arrived at Coombe Abbey for Blaise and Adrians wedding. Blaise, her family and friends were very excited and the bridal room had a fantastic atmosphere. Adrian had sent Blaise not only jewellery as a gift but a hand written letter which certainly got the emotions flooding! The ceremony was in the Baronial Hall which is a medieval room with a fantastic atmosphere. Blaise was walked down the aisle by her father and step father and looked so happy! Blaise’s cousin played piano and her mother read one of the readings.
The atmosphere all day was great. A string duo played all afternoon to drinks on the terrace. During the group shots, I split my trousers much to the amusement of all the guests. Thankfully I always have a spare. With the wedding breakfast in the Cloisters, the speeches were fantastic. Everyone was funny and entertaining.
In the evening, Blaise and Adrian surprised everyone with a choreographed dance that they broke broke into after a minute of swaying!
