Tourists from around the world will come to see the ancient cities of Dobrogea, thanks Limen Project – “Cultural Ports Aegean to the Black Sea“. Approximately 100 guests, partners in the project, will discover the cultural richness of the area.
Archaeologist Constantin Chera said that the European project aims to promote the cultural values of ancient cities on the Black Sea and to establish a new European institution, the Cultural Harbour. At the end of the project, the end of August, there will be a symposium on board a cruise ship, which will stop in Constanta. For the approximately 100 participants, representatives of institutions mentioned above, organized a program of cultural sightseeing Constanta History Museum, Roman mosaic edifice, Carol Mosque Peninsula Area, Cathedral, Casino, Lighthouse Geno-vez, Tourist Port, and the second part will be a visit to Histria because the subject is related to cultural heritage.
The first portion will be Istanbul Cultural, so that, in turn, other cultural centers to be established as a cultural ports in the coming years.
The symposium will be pre- sented papers related to cultural heritage in ancient colonies in the Black Sea ports and promoting cultural tourism. Also, guests will find out ports medieval cultural topics such as Northern Aegean and the Black Sea, topics related to archeology, architecture and art. Another section deals with business activities in the port cities of the Aegean and Black Sea maritime routing. The development of cultural tourist routes in Constanta County, which will be connected to the network routes linking the countries of the Black Sea and Aegean Sea Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine will be another important point will be the attention project participants. About tourism and culture will discuss the guests present in Constanta, and the approximately 100 guests will carry forward the tourist experience in Romania.
Archaeologist Constantin Chera stressed that international promotion and the establishment of a “Cultural Institutions Ports” in countries bordering the Black Sea and the North Aegean is the purpose of the project.
