Hey readers, how was your weekend? I watched one great thriller, Prisoners (2013), the review will be up soon. I’ve been postponing posting fashion post a little bit late than usual. Not on purpose because have been a little tricky to find time to blog. But thankfully, the timing is perfect that I could combine it with Halloween atmosphere, like last year when I featured Dark Shadows (2012). Earlier this year, we were served an unusual coming-of-age thriller movie by Park Chan-wook, Stoker (2013). I’m sure lots of people might consider to watch Stoker for Halloween, as it got horror elements in it, but also the lead, India (Mia Wasikowska) actually have a rather unique style.

She’s a teenager, means she’s not a child anymore but heading to be a woman. She’s cold and suspicious, as the result of the way her parents raised her too. Her style is conservative, a rather plain but not boring, pale but classic and somehow works in Mia Wasikowska figure and fair skin. Her signature is her long plain hair, shirt and skirt with pale colors and black-and-white brogues shoes. There’s not much time identity in Stoker, the movie’s gloomy and dark but the characters wore classy and stylish clothes, like India’s mother, Evelyn (Nicole Kidman) and uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode).
