The Dressing the Undead Panel was the last panel of the day for me on Friday of Comic Con 2012. It followed on the heels of the EW Powerful Women in Pop Culture panel with Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort). Considering that panel had opened with Kristin walking out in the top of her infamous Wal-Mart sweatsuit, I thought it was appropriate that I would end my day at a panel with True Blood costume designer Audrey Fisher on it.
Coming out of Ballroom 20, this panel was a lovely break from the 5,000 people I had been in the room with. I also had a front row seat which means that no one watching these videos will have to see the backs of people’s heads. The only thing not included here is the great video introduction that was played, showing each designers work. Joining Audrey on this panel were Chrisi Karvonides (costume designer, American Horror Story, Carnivale), Jenni G (Costume Designer, Fringe) and costume illustrator Imogene Chayes (True Blood, American Horror Story). Overall it was a great panel where we really got some insight into what it’s like to create costumes for supernatural television shows. Enjoy the videos!
