If you have ever shopped at the Shops of Grand River you know it is going to be an fashion filled weekend with gift card giveaways and incentives if you use your MasterCard for your purchases. That's a Three- Fer !! Check out all the details below :
Birmingham, AL - The Outlet Shops of Grand River partners with Shop America and MasterCard for the ‘USA Outlet Shopping Festival’ on Memorial Day Weekend. The Center is the exclusive center participating in Alabama. The 4-day shopping event will boost the economy with sidewalk sales, gift with purchase opportunities and special gifts and prizes. Shoppers spending $150 or more on their MasterCard will receive gift cards for use throughout the Center, as well as special discounts and gifts from participating retailers. Gift cards from The Outlet Shops of Grand River will be awarded to the first 1,000 shoppers using their MasterCard as follows:
· MasterCard receipts from one or more stores at the Center totaling $150- $199 will receive a $15 gift card from The Outlet Shops of Grand River.
· MasterCard receipts from one or more stores at the Center totaling $200-$249 will receive a $20 gift card from The Outlet Shops of Grand River.
· MasterCard receipts from one or more stores at the Center totaling $250 and up will receive a $25 gift card from The Outlet Shops of Grand River.

The Outlet Shops of Grand River played an integral role in developing this national event with Outlet Marketing Alliance and Shop America, the national organization for shopping centers pushing packages and tourism both internationally and domestically. As part of the planning committee, the Center aided in the development of initiatives and goals to make this event a success with all parties involved. With over 40 outlet centers participating though out the U.S., The Outlet Shops of Grand River is the exclusive center participating in Alabama.
“The launch of the inaugural USA Outlet Shopping Festival was made possible by the input from Christine Szalay and The Outlet Shops of Grand River’s team,” states Rosemary McCormick, President of Shop America Alliance. “This festival will provide the Center with an opportunity to generate interest and growth for its retailers, provide engaging promotions for its customers and ensure their center is a shopping destination for travelers. The USA Outlet Shopping Festival looks to encourage tourism and travel during the holiday weekend.”
MasterCard debit, check or credit card holders will have the chance to register each day to win an additional $100 gift card to The Outlet Shops of Grand River, as well as receive a free coupon book and additional discounts at participating retailers. The drawing will be held daily during the event at 3pm. Participating retailers include Bass – GH Bass & Co., Brooks Brothers Factory Store, dressbarn Outlet, Kitchen Collection Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger and Van Heusen. The USA Shopping Festival will be held Friday, May 24- Monday, May 27 during shopping hours. All gift with purchase and special gifts will be given out at Guest Services, located in the Food Court at The Outlet Shops of Grand River.
