It's less than a year since classic rock made it's debut in Havelock with the first annual HaveRock Revival held this past summer. Organizers are wasting no time preparing for the 2nd Annual event in 2017 and today announced the first phase of it's lineup.

For his 18th album, Blue Highways, Colin James pays tribute to some of his long time blues idols including Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Freddie King, Jr. Wells & Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Robert Johnson and William Bell to name a few. In the spring of 2015 after wrapping up his Hearts on Fire Tour, Colin was loving playing with his band and really happy with the sound they had created on stage. What better time to make a record! Especially the record Colin had been itching to make for years - a collection of some of his favourite blues tracks. In less than a week Colin was recording in The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver and in just two days, Blue Highways was born.
Kentucky Headhunters
The Kentucky Headhunters were founded in 1968 as Itchy Brother, which consisted of brothers Richard Young (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Fred Young (drums) along with Greg Martin (lead guitar, vocals) and Anthony Kenney (bass guitar, vocals). Itchy Brother performed together until 1982, with James Harrison replacing Martin from 1973 to 1976. The Young brothers and Martin began performing as The Kentucky Headhunters in 1986, adding brothers Ricky Lee Phelps (lead vocals, harmonica) and Doug Phelps (bass guitar, backing vocals) to the membership.

David Wilcox is a brilliant song writer, a great singer, and one of the hottest guitar players in the world. He first made his name as a wild, live performer and then as a first-rate recording artist whose work, from "Out Of The Woods" (1980) to his brand new release, "Boy In The Boat" (2007, stands the test of time. Welcome Back David Wilcox - Due to fan requests from 2016!
Blood, Sweat & Tears
When Bobby Colomby assembled the first generation of Blood Sweat & Tears in 1967 he nor anyone else thought that 50 years later BS&T would still be a top touring band. Colomby's vision of a Jazz/Fusion rock Band with horns and also not afraid to take musical chances would change the music scene forever. Some of the greatest musicians in the world have passed through BS&T. 10 Grammy nominations winning 3 including Album of the Year beating out the Beatles Abby Road. 50 years of touring is a tribute to Colomby's vision of Great Musicians equal Great Music.
The current line up with Bo Bice at the helm on vocals is the most popular in recent years. As many promoters have said "it's a show not to me missed."
Honeymoon Suite
Honeymoon Suite's self-titled debut album, was released in June, 1984. The album featured four charting hits in Canada: "New Girl Now," "Burning In Love," "Wave Babies," and "Stay In the Light." All were written by Grehan. "New Girl Now" was also Honeymoon Suite's first single to reach the top-50 in the United States.Their follow up album, The Big Prize, was equally successful in Canada, with four more hits: "Bad Attitude," "Feel It Again," "What Does It Take," and "All Along You Knew." "Feel It Again"reached the Top 40 in the US, while Grehan's "What Does It Take" reached no. 52, buoyed by its inclusion on the soundtrack for the John Cusack film One Crazy Summer. In 1989, "Bad Attitude" was featured in the series finale of Miami Vice.
