Last weekend we journeyed to Coleton Fishacre for a ‘Garden/Cake/Date’ we always start our visits with tea and cake in order to nourish ourselves for our exploration.
This lovely country retreat used to belong to the D’Oyly Carte Family who was responsible for building the Savoy Theatre in London. The Arts and Crafts house boasts lots of Art Deco interiors which I love so much!
The sloping coastal gardens with its winding paths , meadows, woodland, tropical planting, ponds and beautiful views was one of my favorite in Devon so far.
