Those that are fans of the luxury goods mogul, Coco Chanel should set their sights on a new book by Lisa Chaney titled — Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life. In this upcoming biography, Chaney discusses Chanel’s life as one of the most progressive fashion designers of her time but also goes into detail about Chanel’s various romances, notably Salvador Dali, Igor Stravinsky and one that most believe to be a Nazi spy. The book also touches on Chanel’s drug use (she was into opiates) and hints at that the classic designer may have been bisexual.
The book will be released November 11, 2011 and is available for pre-order at Amazon.
