Coachella 2015 proved to be just as glamorous and outrageous as before. For a few weekends every spring the FAF Instagram is full of “wish I was there” moments as friends and celebrities update their feeds with pics of cocktails by the pool and lots of peace signs being flashed under the California sun. Funnily enough, very few photos are of actual bands playing on stage (?) That does not mean that music isn’t the main show, but the side show of fashion and street style is becoming a bigger deal every year. This year the trend seemed to be more Halloween than Hollywood as many Coachella 2015 goers turned up in fancy dress! I saw (in magazines only, mind you *sniff*) a man running across a field dressed as Peter Pan and a slightly bloodied up mommy swigging a beer. (!)
Coachella 2015 style was definitely boho. Feathers, flowers, braids and flowing skirts were everywhere. Jewellery was plenty and often stacked. Especially bracelets and junky wrist watches with Coachella wrist bands. Headbands included flowers and Indian type chains or scarves. Celebrity style was just as funky. Katy Perry wore humongous gold earrings with a matching top, Kate Bosworth was very chic in a Native American inspired jacket whilst Hozier kept it cool and cash in layered tops and jeans. Jayden Smith made a splash in a tunic (or was it skirt?) and Kendall Jenner was…well, everywhere.
