Closet Confessions

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
Every now and then I get asked "if the clothes I wear on my blog belong to me??? " Well, my answer would be yes: whatever you see on me, pretty much everything belongs to me. Some I buy and some are sent to me by companies for reviewing purposes only. For instance this cape blazer was gifted to me by +Shopbop: I wore it, reviewed it and repeated it too. The same cape with the same bag was spotted last week on the blog ( original post here ), but this time I put these jeans to some work.
Talking about which, these jeans with appliqué patches is going to be huge coming fall. Anything sewn superficially to your denim and emits street-chic vibes will be a huge hit. Anyways, what appears super cool and trendy to the world,  has put my closet into deep shit. This ever-changing fashion has my closet situation going berserk.
  • there's clothes literally everywhere
  • it's overloaded and unorganized
  • I never can seem to find anything
  • most of the times I've forgotten what pieces I own
  • and above all: despite a closet full of clothes, I always gaze cluelessly at it as if I have nothing to wear.

Honestly, I feel demented about this whole closet situation and could definitely  use some serious intervention. Probably a shopping ban, a closet purge or some pre-planning could prove helpful here ... which one do you suggest ????
