Here’s another song I heard a couple times in Ireland. It’s never been released here in the US because they are Dublin-based. It seems like have two different versions. The radio plays a fast version which I’m used to. Their official music video has a much slower rhythm and I’m not sure if I like it has much. However, I’ve featured the original music video above. To hear the fast version, click HERE. Apparently this version was edited in a key higher and I’m unsure if it’s actually a production by the band.
Closer to You was released as a single in June of 2012. The album, released in November 2011, was received well and went to #3 on the Irish indie charts. Two other singles were produced from the album, “Addicted to Progress” and “Mark My Words.”
The band has been together since 2003 and are currently on tour in Europe.
