Summer can't come soon enough. I'm such a summer baby and make the most of each opportunity when the sun decides to grace us again! I was almost tempted by slipping into my shorts as I gallivanted around the garden all day, reminiscing my childhood by climbing trees, coming in, might I add, covered head to toe in garden grub... gorgeous! The lovely people at Joe Browns recently sent me over some goodies from their Spring/Summer collection, (by the way, their delivery was SUPER speedy!). I was familiar with the brand, however I've never purchased from there and really looked at it as being clothes aimed more towards a 30 something country pumpkin Mom. But I was really surprised when flicking through their 'look book' where often some easy to wear 'spring essentials' were found. The jumper caught my eye straight away. I know the nautical look has been around for what seems forever! However I think it's always an easy winner for summer plus this jumper is SO unbelievably comfortable. I don't like being wrapped in too many layers, but when I have to put something on I like it to be easy and slouchy. I love the way this jumper falls off the shoulders gently, giving it an easy laid back look. As for the shoes? Some floral plimsolls, they will see me right through summer! From shorts to dresses, they're so versatile and an added bonus being they keep my feet cushy! No blisters are going to be gracing my tootsies...!
