These two lefties were evenly matched and Korda seemingly was the one player that managed to beat Rios at his peak in 1998. Nerves somehow got the better of Rios that day in Australia and had he won it, would surely have cemented his claim for the Tennis Hall of Fame. Korda was awkward to play, which threw Rios off his usual rhythm and vice versa.
