Today started off with a 1 mile jog toward a big hill near my house. Once I got to the hill I did 10 sprints up the hill and then jogged back. My legs were feeling pretty heavy today, and the sprints helped loosen them up.
When I got home I had one thing on my mind: smoothie!!
I made my Green Banana Smoothie and added a tablespoon of peanut butter to it! That hit the spot!

My favorite chipped mug

The other day, my friend Carlie shared a simple, homemade exfoliator with me and gave me permission to share it on my blog. She told me it was fabulous and after testing it this morning, I have to agree. All you need is cinnamon and honey!
Cinnamon Honey Scrub
Ingredients
- 1 tbls organic, local honey
- 1 tbls cinnamon
Method
- Mix cinnamon and honey in a small bowl
Don’t worry it will smooth out. Just keep mixing!
- Wet face with water
- Exfoliate for 1-2 minutes with the Cinnamon Honey Scrub
- Rinse and pat face dry
After exfoliating I applied a gentle facial lotion. My face has never felt so soft and smooth! It also left a fresh smell that suprisingly isn’t too overpowered by cinnamon. I definitely recommend trying this!
Now I am off to the barn to get some riding in!
