Chuwi VX3: A 7in Smartphone

Posted on the 19 May 2014 by Anna Peterson

The Chuwi VX3 is one of the top 7in screen devices on the market at the moment, and people keep calling it a tablet (not even a phablet), rather than a smartphone.

A 7in phablet is coming our way.

This smartphone (or, rather, phablet) has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD) and an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via a microSD card).

It also comes with an 8-megapixel camera and a front-facing 2-megapixel shooter, which is quite understandable given its price. The battery sounds pretty good – 3,200mAh – and the phone also has an HDMI port to connect to HDTV. The phone should arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat. The Chuwi VX3 offers dual-SIM support, Wi-FI, GSM and 3G, and utilizes LTPS tech (low temperature technology).

The device is currently only available in Asia, and it remains to be seen if it will arrive in Europe. The Chuwi VX3 comes at the price of 146 euros.
