Chunky Scarves.

By Bertyc @bertyc
I started knitting about three years ago. My first knitting project was a scarf for my boyfriend. Lots of colours, very chunky, wool and cashmere. Boom.
Do you like the colours? By the look on his face, I'm not sure he does...

He was so happy with his (he really was very happy with it) I made one for myself last year:

Word got around.  My sister mentioned our scarves to my mom and her birthday gift this year was lovingly created. And by lovingly created, I mean the wool was hastily ordered from the web, I knitted until my arm hurt and then passed it to my mother until her arm hurt so that I could panickingly get on with my badly made Christmas presents. I reluctantly finished it three days after her birthday (after I'd downed a triple vodka to numb the pain in my arm). Garter stitch gets boring, I know you're agreeing!
Chunky scarves. Chunky scarves.Anyway, she loves it, check out that smile.  Pretty sure it's not because she's drying up the dishes.
Chunky scarves a go-go!
I'm still going with my chunky cardigan, which will hopefully be finished by spring. By which time it will be way too warm to wear it. PERFECT!
