Few artists have captivated us in recent years as much as Christopher Owens with his band Girls. Despite the fact that the group was pretty much synonymous with Owens, he’s decided to strike out on his own, and is releasing Lysandre in January 2013. Enjoy this first taste, a softly melodic reminder of the unparalleled way that Owens mixes rock and roll with old school pathos.
