*Christmas Gifts For Toddlers

My favorite time of year is without a doubt Christmas, just being surrounded by family, yummy food and of course, the presents! I'm seriously like a child the night before, I can't sleep and end up waking up at silly o'clock in the morning too excited! Hehe. Abbie was only 3 months old on her first Christmas, so we didn't buy her much at all, just a few teddies and some clothes, however this year she will be more aware of what is going on, even if she doesn't quite understand it still...we have picked out a few things to get her which will keep her occupied..if you're looking for a bit of inspiration for some Christmas gifts for girls or your toddler, check out my collection above!

Mega Blocks - 1&8

Abbie is at that age now where she loves stacking things up and figuring out what shape fits where, it's so cute watching her twisting and turning the triangle to fit into the circle space..none the less, it keeps her occupied and happy for a while, whilst teaching her shapes, hand eye co-ordination and balancing skills! A great way to get those little minds working!

Push/Ride Along Toys - 2&5

These are great for when your toddler has well and truly found their feet and balance, although they are also great for encouraging them to walk and get them standing up more confidently! The ride along ones are also great to take outdoors, they can put their feet up and you can push them, or let them wear themselves out by doing all the work themselves! There are so many out there to choose from!

Musical Toys - 7

Abbie loves everything and anything that can play music, or noise for that matter, from the tv,to the hoover, the washing machine to her walk along keyboard! Every time there's a theme tune on telly she will stop whatever she is doing and either dance or go completely silent...Now that she's standing we've been wanting to get her something she can stand up with and play, we were actually looking at number 7 on the list above! Getting them involved in playing music and making some noise (sorry neighbours) is great for their creative side and again, hand eye co-ordination!
What are you getting for your toddler?
