Christmas Gift Ideas from Zalando!
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7Christmas means something completely different now that I'm older, I'm not bothered by what I get, if i get anything at all, I'm one of those people who loves being surrounded by friends and family, the whole Christmas buzz is my favorite thing of all! Growing up I have the best memories of Christmas, lots of games, music, presents, food and best of all, family! I always looked forward to when i had my own family so I could give them the best memories too! I recently made a wish list of gifts we would love for Abbie, although she won't remember this Christmas, she is at that age now where she is developing at such a fast rate and needs certain things to help her learn and keep her little mind constantly thinking and ticking! For us adults its a different story now, instead of things we want, we ask for things we need...Ben & I have asked for a dishwasher this year, yep, a dishwasher, old age has kicked in I think! People have been asking us what we would like for Christmas which got me thinking about it, what would we like but also what would we get them? So i've browsed through one of my favorite websites Zalando, who we actually carried out a review for back in the summer, you can see the review here, they actually turned out to be our favorite outfits ever! Since then I have treated myself & Ben to some bits too, as well as some bits on their way for Christmas, yay! :) In the picture above I have put together some ideas of things I would love to receive and my top 3 are explained below :)
1. Nightwear
It sounds silly but there's nothing I love more than new nightwear at christmas, festive pjs, a snuggly dressing gown and some warm fluffy slippers! Perfect for the cold Christmas morning and also throughout the upcoming months, plus if you can't be bothered to get dressed some days, you'll be forgiven, ill be staying in mine all day on Boxing Day! :)
2. Photo frames and albums
Something I started last year actually, the perfect way to show all your Christmas memories, from the early morning wake up call to the kids opening their stockings, the rush downstairs to see what Santa has brought to the unwrapping of gifts, all through to eating the yummy Christmas dinner and the party hats and games in the evening! Capture every special moment and fill up a photo album (or two), pick your favourites and put then up in some gorgeous frames to go on the fireplace! :)
3. Clothes
I think everyone gets clothes at Christmas, from socks to scarves, wooly jumpers to onesies! After all, we wear them every single day and as long as you know the recipients size and style choice, you're pretty much guaranteed to find something they like, and if they don't, they can swap it anyway! Every year without a doubt Ben is bought socks, oh and boxers, it's the perfect gift, no chance of wasting your money on something the might not like! Last year I invested in some nice jumpers and jackets for him as he literally had a coat and that's all, I took a chance and thankfully he loved them! So this time around we thought we'd be a little funny and get proper festive matching jumpers..mine is gray with a penguin on and his is Mark Darcy inspired with a reindeer with a flashing red nose! I know I know, we are too funny! :).
Clothes for babies and children are pretty much the same, as long as you know their size you're good to go! 99% of kids clothes are super adorable anyway, especially winter clothes, those cute hooded coats with animal ears and those super adorable baby uggs! So don't worry about the parents not liking it, plus, it's the thought that counts! :)
Try not to get too flustered or stressed with the Christmas shopping, it's not just about the presents, so relax, have fun and treat yourself too! (I won't tell!) :)
