Christmas 2014

It's December 31st and I haven't written up anything about our Christmas yet, panic panic!! A month or so ago I had it all planned out, I was going to take these fancy chrsitmas photos, with Abbie full of excitement, I'd make something posh for breakfast and we'd spend the morning in our Christmas pj's ready for a family photo! But the reality was that Abbie woke up an hour and a half early, at 6am, which resulted in her being very grumpy and only wanting to open a few presents before demanding she wanted the iPad, and it ended up being chocolate for breakfast for Ben & I too, who needs any of that fancy stuff anyway?...So I really don't have many photos of this Christmas, to be honest it was kinda nice to not have a camera in my hand, i'm constantly taking pictures every day so I just wanted some quality family time without setting any scenes up for Christmas photos! In short, we had a lovely Christmas, it wasn't too crazy, I cooked my first ever Christmas dinner which you'll see below! I was super proud of myself and it was actually way easier than I thought it would be too, once all the timings were figured out, it was just a case of sticking to it, and we all know how much I love a good routine! :). The morning was spent unwrapping presents, eating and staying in our pyjamas until the second we had to leave the house! Abbie was spoilt rotten this year, as she should be, we aren't planning on having any more little ones so we can go all out with Abbie, lucky girl! We popped over to her Grandparents for a little bit too and of course she had lots of presents to open there too!  I ate so much food, after being on a diet for 3 months and losing an extra 5lbs,  I knew I could go all out and really enjoy myself, and that's exactly what I did, lots of chocolate, lots of party food, chocolate, sweets and those amazing shortbread biscuits!  Here are a bunch of photos from our Christmas, not in any particular order, not particularly 'professional' looking, but memories none the less :) Hope you all had a great Christmas and you have a fab New Year too!
