Chicago Rib Shack Food Review
Food, although a necessity, is one of my few indulgences and I have no shame (ok just a little bit) in admitting burgers are my vice, especially the biggest, juiciest, unhealthy looking ones. Somehow, as much as I keep trying to expand my food experience, I end up having whatever is equivalent to a tempting burger on the menu.
For New Years day, the family and I went to Chicago Rib Shack in Clapham for dinner (See what I wore here). Whenever I can't decide on one thing to order, my best solution is just to get a bit of everything so I ended up with ribs, a big spicy burger (of course), macaroni cheese, calamari and fries. Let me just start off by saying that the ribs were honestly the best I've had to date. They were so tender and came right off the bone, they were seasoned and sauced to perfection and they looked appetizing too. Surprisingly I preferred the ribs to the burger which was nice but had a strange sauce in it that kept throwing my taste buds off.
We seemed to have attended on a very good day because not only was it burger Thursday meaning you could get any burger, fries and drink for £10 but the kids could dine for free meaning my little king got to stuff his cute face on the house. The staff were very friendly and patient and I loved the setting of the restaurent with their stylish green quilted seats. All in all, it was a great evening and start to the new year food fest. Enjoy! TL. Xx
