Keep this bag in your car whenever you’re traveling – you never know when it’ll come in handy.
- When single-stall bathrooms aren’t available, look for a family restroom or handicap stall. Handicap stalls offer more room to maneuver, and sometimes come equipped with a trashcan. If there isn’t a trashcan, you can do one of two things: place your dirty diaper into a plastic bag and stash it in your backpack until you can discreetly dispose it, or walk out with the diaper and toss it into the trashcan. The latter choice may take some time to get used to, especially if there are other people in the restroom. However, chances are you’ll never encounter these people again, so you shouldn’t worry about them. Most times, other people could care less what you’re doing in the bathroom; like you, they just want to do their business and go about their day.
- If you’re still uncomfortable changing in public, try wearing a booster pad with your brief. A booster pad increases the absorbency of your host product. This means that you won’t have to change as often. In fact, you may be able to wait until you get home, have more privacy, and change then.
The important thing to remember while changing in public is to focus on your cleanliness instead of what others may see or hear.
