The first new song I’ve heard in 2013 even though new means from 1986. I somehow missed this song on the radio until yesterday and like usual, I could relate to the lyrics. Maybe that’s the reason I heard it when I did…because it’s sorta where I’m at now.
Change of Heart was released as a single in November of 1986 from Cyndi’s second album, True Colors. It went to #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and to #13 in Canada. The 80′s pop group The Bangles, sang backing vocals.
The song remains a fan favorite and Cyndi still often performs it. She also recorded an acoustic version and made it available on her website as a free download. To hear her acoustic performance from her VH1 show, click HERE.
