Magic is a beautiful turquoise blue of the sky at daybreak while Cosmic is the opposite cousin, a beautiful shade when night touches the sky with black, sparkling blue and silver pearls that mimic the very stars in the sky.

Formula & Application: Chanel Le Vernis is 5-Free (free of DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor). The signature square glass bottles are topped with a black square outer cap that is removed to reveal a stubby, round, ribbed inner cap. The brush is round, medium in length and width and reminds me of the old OPI brushes. It easily fans out and covers the nail without much resistance.

Some of Chanel’s followers will see the Chanel Cosmic shade as an inky black with a soft gel texture, packed with silver and blue metallic flecks. It’s somewhat sheer, to properly suspend the glitter particles. In the bottle it looks similar to a black version of Chanel’s Night Sky .
Chanel Magic on the other hand is a rich, denim blue creme. Being more creme it will apply easily with two coats, it flows nicely on the nail giving full coverage. Magic can remind users of Chanel Blue Rebel from the Chanel Les Jeans collection, though Blue Rebel does have a faded look in comparison.
