The Chameleon Restaurant in the 10th is a place I visited about a month ago with two friends who have co-dwelled down the street in the 18th with us for some 23 years.  The quotes I quoted then included "The best magret ever" "I've never had frites in Paris like these" "They must have added the addition wrong."  So Colette and two other friends had to go.

First the two guys had the eperlans which I like really crisp but he thought were over-cooked but with their spicy sauce who could complain?  Then we all made the classic mistake and ordered the same thing, the magret, which was not the best ever this time but was respectable.

As finales the other folks had peaches and rhubarb and chocolate mousse, both of which I thought were over the ordinary bar.

With two bottles and a glass of wine, no bottled water and three coffees our bill was 114 E for 4 or 57 E a couple - REALLY? - yes, most reasonable.
