CFA: Workshop on Quantum Structures 2017, Nijmegen, 4-7 July 2017

WORKSHOP ON QUANTUM STRUCTURES (IQSA-2017), CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:

An intermediate workshop on Quantum Structures 2017 will be hosted by the International Quantum Structures Association (IQSA) from Tuesday July 4th to Friday the 7th at the Radboud University Nijmegen, in the Netherlands. The workshop is a satellite event of the 14th International Conference on Quantum Physics and Logic (QPL), see:

Topics and Scope:
The workshop will encourage discussion and collaboration between the IQSA and QPL communities, we will bring together researchers active in the following areas:
* quantum structures and their applications in physics, mathematics and philosophy
* logico-algebraic structures, orthomodular structures, quantum logics, empirical logics, operational structures
* quantum mechanics
* quantum measurements
* quantum computation, quantum information, quantum communication
* philosophy and history of quantum mechanics
* quantum probability
* interdisciplinary applications of quantum structures
* algebraic methods of quantum mechanics
* foundations of quantum mechanics
* interdisciplinary applications of quantum structures

Call for Abstracts:
We welcome abstracts (not exceeding two pages) for a proposed contributed talk on any topic within the mentioned scope of the workshop. The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 15th. Abstracts have to be uploaded on the EasyChair Conference Website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iqsa2017

Abstract submission deadline: 15 May 2017
Notification of acceptance by 3 June 2017
Conference dates: 4-7 July 2017

It is highly recommended you book your hotel accommodation well in advance, as places tend to fill up in the summer months. A list of hotels is available on the mentioned website.

To participate in the IQSA2017 workshop we ask a Conference Registration Fee. The fee entitles participants to attend both events, IQSA and QPL.
Regular registration: 225 euro before 10 June, and 300 euro after 10 June
Student registration: 50 euro before 10 June, 90 euro after 10 June
