The Daily reports that as more and more people inadvertently dial 9-1-1 with their cell phones in their pockets, that 40 out of 100 9-1-1 calls in America are now illegitimate. The good news, is this has lead to one arrest of a drug dealer who pocket called the police during a drug deal.

1. The police in another country. You’re going to run up a long distance bill, and who knows what kind of criminal sentence you might get the next time you visit Australia!
2. The band the Police. The other members have been waiting for anyone to call them since Sting left the band, so they likely will be very disappointed.
3. Yourself. If you would have paid for call display, you’d know you’re pocket calling yourself, but since you didn’t, you may assume that some lunatic is repeatedly calling you, leading you to phone 9-1-1 from your land line, compounding the police’s non-emergency 9-1-1 problem.
