Celebrate Small Things: August 1, 2014 Today is the first day and the first Friday of August. Yay! And today, I do have several things I am very thankful for.

1. Dad is feeling better and his blood pressure is starting to level out. (His bp has been very low last week but is now recovering).

2. Jyoti, our senior canine baby, is feeling more active and is eating better. (He is 16 human years old and has arthritis on his right foreleg and a big lipoma between his hind legs)

3. The nights have been much cooler especially after it rains. (It has been a scorching and humid few weeks)

4. The power bill for our veg garden is only Rs. 10!!! (Probably because we ended up paying for the last bill twice -- but hey, a power bill of only Rs 10 is pretty celebration worthy)

Raspberry and Mango Cobbler

There are a lot more stuff worth celebrating but I shall only list the top four.

I am celebrating with a slice of raspberry and mango cobbler that I made yesterday (with a massive scoop of vanilla ice cream on top)... nom... nom... nom. I swear that the first and last mouthful is dedicated to helping you celebrate your small or big things :)
