A Penn Castle Wedding with Cat & Steve’s was a great outdoor wedding ceremony to capture.
A subtle blend of Chinese and Western influences being reflected throughout their theme, full of colour and fun.
Known by its full name as Pennsylvania Castle, It is a leading Dorset wedding venue which enjoys stunning views out over the Jurassic coastline.
This location is also close to Steve’s heart. Being an avid climber he spends much of his time scaling the local rock formations. Something reflected in their personal and innovative wedding cake design.
Impressions from the wedding breakfast speeches were that he spent his stag do week abroad climbing and even wanted to get some in before the wedding ceremony! The later option being over-ruled on this occasion.
Penn Castle Weddings
With changeable weather forecast on the day, we were extremely lucky to hold the ceremony outside.
We managed to enjoy the amazing grounds for plenty of creative portraits before the clouds and rain made an appearance. Things couldn’t have been timed any better!
A great couple with wonderful family and friends, made both myself and second shooter Oana, very welcome.
The day was a privilege to capture and fingers crossed I’ll be back shortly to capture another.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
