Candle Corner

The only downside about working in a shop that sells Yankee Candles is that I just have to buy at least one candle every time we get a big delivery. There were plenty of everyday and summer scents to choose from but in the end I had to go with the very gorgeous Honey Blossom which is one of the new summer scents that was introduced this year. Yankee describe Honey Blossom as being a mix of flower nectar, honey musk, freesia and woods which I think is a very fair description as it's very easy to pick out the floral and honey notes. I'm definitely a sucker for floral and sweet scents so this combination is pretty much perfect for me, and what's lovely is that the scent is strong enough to fill a room but isn't too overpowering. This is very much appreciated as powerful smells tend to give me headaches (boohoo)! I'll be honest and say that the color of the candle also had me sold very quickly as I just couldn't say no to such a pretty lavender shade. The pale lilac color goes perfectly with my room and looks so pretty sitting on my windowsill, surrounded by some pink tea lights of course! Have you tried any of the Yankee Candle summer scents?
