Over the last couple years I have been able to take in a few of the shows that happen during Canadian Music Week. This year is no different. We have plans to take in at least 8 or 9 of the shows happening over the 7 days in May (May 2-8) in various venues across Toronto. Lets start off with a little about CMW.

Now in its 34th year, CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK is recognized as one of the premier entertainment events in North America focusing on the business of music. The Canadian Music Week festival spans 10 nights of performances, with 1,000 showcasing bands at more than 60 live music venues in downtown Toronto. All convention functions take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen Street W. Toronto.
Now lets get to the shows that I think are going to be ones that you won't want to miss. And yes I love my Country Music so there will be a few of those shows mixed in there for sure.

Friday - May 6th - Cold Creek County, RiverTown Saints with Chris Lane @ Boots & Bourbon
Saturday - May 7th - Eagles of Death Metal @ The Opera House & One More Girl with Them Dang Rattlers @ Boots & Bourbon
