How would you describe your wedding style?

Classic and elegant

Invitations and reception stationery

Made by a family friend

What did you wear?

Camilla wore a Rita dress by St Patrick, shoes by Carvela and jewellery from Tiffanys
Luke wore a 3 piece suit from Hackett

A little about the wedding ceremony

We had the ceremony in the restaurant in the main house at Chilston. We had a harpist playing throughout who gave us a huge selection of music to choose from, ranging from Abba to La Vie en Rose by Lois Armstrong.

Tell us a little about your wedding venue styling and details

We went for a very classic look without anything too fancy. We had a very striking venue and it didn’t need too much more. However, we still wanted to bring our character across which we did through the smaller details. For example, Luke is a keen kickboxer so we named all the tables after kickboxing moves.

Wedding music and entertainment

We had a harpist for the ceremony and drinks reception, an iPod playlist during dinner and a band then DJ for the evening. Well worth having the live music with the harpist and band, they really helped to make the atmosphere.

Memorable wedding day moments

Luke arriving by helicopter, walking down the aisle and the speeches.

Wedding day advice

Choose your bridesmaids wisely. They help with the preparations and also on the day and I would recommend asking people who know you very well and who can realize what needs to be done without having to be asked every time. I got a bit tearful just before walking down the aisle and a few stern words from one of my bridesmaids (who is one of my oldest friends) helped me pull myself together within seconds.
