It’s been a little bit of a while between posts here, so sorry! I can report though that things have been mega-shitload busy and super exciting too! This recent burst of busy-busy-ness also co-incides with some plans and projects for this site and my brain possibly hasn’t switched off in weeks. I guess that’s one of the downsides about being an ideas person – way too many ideas and far too few hours. But that is a digression for now, you’ll just have to watch this space!
Most excitingly I’ve been up to pussy’s bow (a favorite expression of my dear late Gran) organising and preparing the heck out of the household so that tomorrow morning I can be here

I’ll confess to being more than a bit nervous. Not about traveling on my own, that’s the stuff of fantasies (no tugging at my shirt, no head counting, no emergency toilet dashes …. aside from my own) but I am quite apprehensive about heading to my first 2 day blogging conference since Family Survival Coach launched.
I’ve been blogging pals for ages with the gorgeous Dani from Fitness, Food and Style and can’t wait to meet with her and be her roomie. So many other wonderful bloggers will be there too and I have a secret little list of those I plan to stalk in the hopes of being brave enough to say hello.
The program’s all printed and I’ve tentatively highlighted the sessions that I think I’ll get most out of – the laptop and iPad are on charge and I’ve decided on what needs to go in the bag. So close, but still so much to finalise before I can be at that airport tomorrow.
Of course, I’ll have all my i Gadgets with me to play the social media game live from the castle, and so if you don’t already catch me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, I’d love to have join me there.
