Burley Manor Wedding Photographers
This past year has seen us shoot three unique celebrations as Burley Manor Wedding Photographers.
Each having their own allure, from the individuality of the ceremony, the energy of the people, to the moments shared.
Burley Manor being one of the most distinctive and sought after New Forest Wedding venues for couples wishing to marry within Hampshire.
Gavin and Jo’s wedding was a intimate, weekday wedding bringing close family and friends together for a ceremony at All Saints Church in Branksome, Bournemouth.
Being some months now since their wedding, I vividly remember the moments captured, these really speak to me and convey the energy within this couples connection. During the readings and the sermon, the two of them sat to the side of the alter. Both were completely wrapped up in one another. Observing their eye contact, the smiles, the holding hands, the blushing, the smirks and the laughter. Great pictures to see and to capture.
We were met with showers upon leaving the church, so a brief moment to pause, before getting the all clear to proceed with confetti and a few group photos. Then we were on our way to Burley Manor. Stopping off at Sandbanks enroute, for a couples portrait session.

Overcast wedding days can offer some of the best photography possible. These portraits upon Sandbanks beach, with the heavy cloud definition, along with the crisp light, really compliment their day. It’s also such a great idea when traveling between ceremony and reception venue to really look into some great options for portrait settings.
The briefest of time away from the wedding guests, possibly 20 minutes – then we were back on the road and heading into the New Forest.
Burley Manor blends the best of elegant sophistication, along with offering the home from home. We arrived to an awaiting drinks and canapé reception, before being led to the wedding breakfast in the restaurant.
Memorable words being shed by their grandmother, an actress and fine after dinner speaker, with a poem she wrote for the Bride & Groom.
No evening reception, but there was plenty of cake…. three of them! All palettes being catered here within their Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea.
Coverage completed, I was on my way. A great day to have captured amongst great people!
