Brympton D’Evercy Weddings – what a way to conclude our year! Shooting Joy & James’ winter wedding celebration was a pleasure to capture.
A wonderful couple, a stunning classic setting and very warm crowd of family and friends.
Saturday proved to be a classic Somerset winter wedding, chasing the light, dodging showers and high winds.
We started the day with Joy and the bridemaids at The Hollies Hotel in Martock, capturing all the bridal preparations, before traveling a short distance to St Catherines Church in Montacute.
Joy looked spectacular making her entrance, walking down the aisle escorted by her father and four bridemaids.
Following the service, we made a short trip over to Brympton D’Evercy for the reception and evening party. We were pushing things somewhat with the lateness in the day and daylight still available, but we still managed to get some exterior portraits done.
Such a beautiful backdrop, it would have been a shame to miss out on this opportunity. So glad we all went for it, the results were very rewarding.
A few preview taster images from their day are here, as a quick reminder and a little timely Christmas treat! I hope you enjoy them and look forward to sharing more in the near future.
Thanks once again to Associate Photographer, Oana for her help and input on the day. Some lovely images being produced, along with having a familiar face as well as a talented photographer alongside.
