Last wednesday I traveled to Copenhagen for work and although I hardly had any free time I did manage to spend 20 minutes in Illum, for a concentrated danish designers shopping experience. I prepared my trip well, I carefully browsed the websites of Bruuns Bazaar (a brand that I discovered back in 2008 on my first time to Copenhagen and which I have spotted lately on Caroline) and By Malene Birger and selected my favorites pieces.
From left: chunky knit sweater (bruuns bazaar), stich detail blouse (bruuns bazaar), sweater
(bruuns bazaar), black blazer (by malene birger), cable knit sweater (by malene birger),
military coat (by malene birger), tiger sweater (by malene birger), sequined leggings (by malene birger)
Unfortunately I didn't manage to find any of these and everything that I tried on didn't look right.
In the end I left Illum empty handed but I'm glad I did because on a moment of crazyness and suffering from the syndrome of "never leave a store without buying something" I almost bought Isabel Marant's Memphis boots. Crazyness because although beautiful they are waaaaaaaaaay overpriced, and I refuse to go along with Isabel Marant crazy prices rise...
Have a great weekend, lovelies !!
xx Marta
