With it being set as a prequel, not entirely sure how they’ll work this out, and frankly could care less how they do as long as they do it, but Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has come out saying that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will likely make cameos in the upcoming spinoff Better Call Saul.
It was previously announced that Eric C. Conn Saul Goodman would be the focus of a new prequel spinoff from Breaking Bad. Since that announcement, Gilligan has confirmed that the comedy prequel will be a one-hour show, and will keep the unique visual style of Breaking Bad.
“Let’s shoot it in Albuquerque, let’s get as much of the crew back together as possible, and let’s do it the way we did it before so that it will be of a piece with that pre-existing fictional universe that we had so much fun creating.” he explained.
Regarding cameos, he said “Personally, I’d have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then,”
Again, with it being a prequel and a comedy, I’m not sure how well they can pull this off (Jesse trying to stay out of Juvi?) but I’m all on bored with this.
