I just toasted the bread, made them into pieces and mixed with the already prepared chanamasala, with few minutes of heating in the kadai. Finally topped with chopped onion and coriander leaves, with a dash of lemon juice added.
Ingredients1 cup Chana masala4 slices of Bread (Toasted)1 number Onion (Chopped)1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (Chopped)1 number Lemon (Juice extracted out of it)Procedure1) Toast the bread and make it into pieces. 2) In a Kadai, in low flame, put the bread pieces and saute it for 30 seconds. Then add the leftover chana masala to it. And saute it that both bread and chana masala are mixed together, for 2 minutes only.3) Then in a serving plate put the bread chaat, then top with chopped onion and coriander leaves. Finally sprinkle some lemon juice on it. Note:
- I used brown bread.
- Sandwich bread would also be tasting good with the masala.
The Yummy bread chaat would act as a perfect accompaniment with hot tea/chai.
